Bo feels her way through life

Hey there Plebbles!

Whenever I say something like ‘in 20 min.’ to Bo, she asks me ‘How long is that?’

My reply is ‘Like walking from here to the post office’. She’s always happy with this type of answer and doesn’t continue asking which indicates to me that she has understood.

The only way for her to understand how long something takes is by comparing it to something she knows and has experienced. It’s a feeling that she relates to the amount of time we’re talking about.

The other day she asked me, ‘How old will I be when Lima is 27?’ I replied ‘you’ll be 24’, and when she asked ‘how long is that? From where to where?’ I said that I couldn’t tell her because she has never gone on a trip that long.

Most things, we cannot explain to people. They need to experience them or at least have had an exposure to a comparable event to start comprehending them. That’s why, in most cases, it’s unnecessary to explain something without having been asked about a topic.

Many adults think they’re doing children a favor when telling them about something they consider an important lesson.

However, it causes more damage than good.

The reason is that we cannot understand complex systems with our intellect. Humanity knows about 1% of the human being and the Universe. And we are very likely to not get very high, no matter how advanced science and technology will reach in the future.

Naturally, children are complex beings, too, not just their bodies but their minds as well. Our natural intelligence, our being, with all its systems and perfectly running functions without our active doing, will never be fully understood by our minds. Nonetheless, it all operates on the highest efficiency.

When we look at children, we think that just because we’re older, have more experience and know more, we should teach them what we know. But this means there is a lack of understanding of their capacity. We only see limitations because we are not competent enough to recognize the whole.

It’s like having a knee operation because there is pain. The doctor only looks at the knee, not where the problem originates from. That’s the common approach in our medical system. The knee pain could be coming from physical or non-physical roots, not even based in the area of the knee. Science now is able to show us that our thinking and emotions affect our bodies. There is no real separation between body and mind anyway, but we are taught the opposite. What is obvious is that our natural being knows best.

Our body knows how to do what it needs to do: grow, repair, give birth, move, speak, etc. Everything we learn from the moment we’re born is by using our natural intelligence, not our intellect, science, lessons or anything else. As babies we don’t have an intellect but we are still able to copy and connect concepts and develop this way. When Bo understands the time comparisons, she’s using her natural intelligence, the feeling of time. There is no other way for any of us.

Let me give you another quick example:

When Bo put on her shoes she used to mix right with left most of the time. I never said anything, unless she asked me whether it’s the right one. One time, she put the right shoe on her left foot, she looked at me (I said nothing, nor did I make a facial expression telling her it’s wrong) and I could tell she felt it was the wrong shoe. She then asked me if this was the right one and when I said No, she corrected it. The next day, she put on her shoes the wrong way and changed them over. She never asked me again. She then knew what the right way to put her shoes on feels like.

Studies show that most operations that are not related to saving someone’s life, make things worse for the patient. The same applies to medication. Instead of helping the body regain its balance to be able to function properly, people get operated on, take drugs and suffer from the consequences, from the side effects. The body needs to compensate for the damage and by imposing cuts, objects and substances, removing parts of the body, connecting others, the body is usually in more distress than it was before the interference of medical intervention.

When a person intrudes the natural intelligence of the human being - this also includes molding a child’s way of learning and thinking - we are impeding the expansion to a potential we don’t see often in our society.

Humans are born balanced beings. The more we impose, the more we go out of balance, the more problems we experience, the more conflicts within ourselves and others we produce, both physically and mentally.

Our society is extremely imposing. It’s the norm. We have marked so many things as ‘normal’ that are not natural to us as humans, that we have created a sick society that has forgotten how beautiful life can be, how easy, peaceful and joyful.

Things that are ‘normal’:

Children cry a lot - in OUR society.

Children need to go to school to learn - in OUR society.

Both parents have a 9-5 job - in OUR society.

Giving birth in a hospital and being told how to - in OUR society.

Somone’s in pain? Take drugs - in OUR society.

People are depressed and go to therapy - in OUR society.

Nutrition science being sponsored by junk-food companies - in OUR society.

Pharmaceutical industries sponsoring news papers and channels - in OUR society.

The list is endless.

When looking at how we used to live, not that long ago even, how some tribes and communities live, continuing their ancestors' ways, we can see that when following our natural intelligence, life is so much healthier and better for every part of the community.

Using your natural intelligence often means you’re doing something, you make a decision, you listen to your feeling, knowing it’s the right thing to do without knowing why.

That’s what children do all the time. They play, explore, examine or are still all through the day. They’re letting their natural intelligence lead the way. Learning on the highest level is taking place at all times when you just let them be.

So, there are 2 things to note now:

  1. Let them use their natural intelligence all their lives and stop imposing something that they never asked for. Just let them be.

  2. Go back to listening to your natural intelligence. Remove the conditioning you have received and bit by bit you will be able to tune back into your instincts and intuition.

  3. The intellect is great for reading, doing and learning about mechanical things, talking to people etc. But it’s the smaller part of our intelligence and should not be interfering with our natural abilities.

How to remove your conditioning?

That’s material for another blog post but what I will do is get my husband Rob onto my Fiat-proof podcast so that he can give you a good idea of how to go about this. He’s an expert at undoing conditioning and helps people all around the world on a daily basis.
